Alvin E. Cook

Alvin E. Cook age 64 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. Alvin was born on August 16, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. and was raised in Kentucky. He was a Dayton area Barber for several years and had worked at the R.T.A. in Dayton for 22½ years and active in Youth activities including the Boy Scouts. Preceded in death by his father: Edgar Cook in 2003.

Survived by wife of 45 years: Inas D. (Wilson) Cook; Mother: Daisy Mae Cook of West Alexandria, OH; Sons & daughters-in-law: Timothy & Doria Cook of Huber Heights, OH; Toby & Rexann Cook of Clayton, OH and Jody Cook of New Lebanon, OH. Brother: William Donald Cook of Clearwater, Fl. Grandchildren: Madison, Zachary, Riley, Peyton, Presley Joeh and Joash Cook; Nieces and nephews and friends.

A celebration of Alvin’s life will be held Thursday 11:00 am December, 13, 2007 at Tru-- Holiness Church of God - U.S. 35 - West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery - West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Wednesday December 12, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, OH. and one hour prior to the service at the church.
