Alice J. Matheny

Alice J. (Armold) Matheny, 93 of Eaton, Ohio, died unexpectedly on November 15, 2022. Born on March 12, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late, Russell Francis & Carrie K. (Pancake) Armold.

She retired from Baxter International in Eaton, Ohio and as a nanny for a family in Middletown. Member of the Eastern Star.

Preceded by her husband, Samuel Doyle Matheny in 1964; father, Russell Francis Armold in 1989; mother, Carrie K. (Pancake) Armold in 1974; brother, Ollie Armold in 1975.

Survived by her sons, Rusty Matheny, and Kent Matheny; grandchildren, Brandon, Russell, Kyle, Aundrea, Sarah, Heather, and Heidi; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
