ALBERTA LAKES, age 79 of New Paris, Ohio died Monday, July 25, 2005 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on December 24, 1925 in Jackson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Lu Jallie (Morris) Cruse. Preceded in death by Husband: Edward Lakes, in 1988; Son: Roy Lakes in 2002; 3 Brothers: Jake, Luker & Raymond Cruse; 4 Half Brothers: Audie Hurley, Jessie Cruse, Larry Rex & Noel Cruse; 6 Half Sisters: Grethel Johnson, Dorothy Hurley, Flossie Cruse, Harla Mae Cruse, Bonnie Marie Cruse & Margaret Rose.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Bill & Diana Lakes, New Paris, Ohio; Daughter: Joyce Mathews, Maryville, Tennessee; Sister: Hattie Brockman, Richmond, Indiana; Brother: Thomas Cruse, Nickolsville, Kentucky. 5 Half Sisters: Gertrude Powell, Christine Day & Doris Jean Potter, all of Richmond, Indiana, Patricia Harrison, Sandgap, Kentucky, Joyce Malicoate, McKee, Kentucky. 3 Half Brothers: Hershel Cruse, Richmond, Indiana, Wendell Cruse, Connersville, Indiana and Donald Ray Cruse of Arizona. Sister-in-law: Marie Ramsey, Richmond, Indiana. 7 Grandchildren: Robin A. Brockman-Mosca, Kim A. Norvell, Cynthia D. Carter, Kristie D. Sizemore, Joanna K. Lacey, Jill R. Lakes, Amy J.
