A. Louise Pfoutz

A. Louise Pfoutz, age 95, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Roy and Dainty Early. She retired as a secretary from Lanier School to pursue her passion for flying, traveling, and spending time with her granddaughters. She frequently attended air shows with her husband, Paul, in her WWII Vultee BT-13 airplane that they restored and continued to fly until she was 85 years old.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pfoutz in 1986; daughter, Connie Mundhenk in 1991; and niece, Judy Bixler in 2014.

She is survived by her son-in-law, William (Phyllis) Mundhenk; granddaughters, Melissa (Henry) Mundhenk-Posadas and Ann (William) Tracey; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Ashley; niece Kay Raymond and nephew John (Carmen) Ward.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Women in Aviation, International, 3647 State Route 503 South, West Alexandria, Ohio 45381 or the Eaton Church of the Brethren, PO Box 122, Eaton, OH 45320.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M on Saturday, December 27 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. Friends are welcome one hour before and after the service.
