Obituary for Mary H. Wheeler

Mary H. Wheeler, age 87 of Eaton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at her residence. Mary was born on December 12, 1929 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of the late Vernon E. & Fern L. (Gault) Stoops. She retired in 1996 after 16 years of service as the bookkeeper for L. Riegel & Sons, Inc. Construction of Farmersville, OH. Member of Eaton Church of The Brethren. Preceded in death by her husband: Frederick E. Wheeler; son: Michael Wheeler; son-in-law: Dennis Mills in 2016. Survived by children: Cathy Lynn Mills of Brookville, OH; Steven Andrew & Carolyn Waymire of Bartlett, TN; Jack Wheeler of Lancaster, OH; Gail Wheeler of Columbus, OH; sisters: Alma DeVore of Wabash, IN; Gail Herron of Churubusco, IN; Elaine Renkenberger of Laotto, IN; Julie Jacoby of Wabash, IN and Doris Schnarr of Marion, IN; brothers: David Stoops of Churubusco, IN and Edward Stoops of Puxico, MO; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday November 17, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home 220 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Stan VanAusdal officiating. Private Interment will be in Twin Valley Cemetery near Gratis, Ohio.
