Obituary for Charles Rutherford

Charles Rutherford, 79 of Eaton, OH died Monday, July 23, 2018 at Vancrest of Eaton. Charles was born on May 27, 1939 in Gallipolis, Ohio the son of the late Robert T. & Marjorie (Hix) Rutherford. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1989 as a Building Manager for the State of Ohio for 26 years. Attended Sugar Valley United Methodist Church and active with the Lakengren Dragons. Preceded in death by brother: Frank Rutherford. 

Survived by his wife of 54 years: Myrtle Jane (Drummond) Rutherford; daughter & son-in-law: Christina L. & Terry Wilson of Eaton, OH; Brothers: Gerald Rutherford of New Port Richie, FL. And Roger Rutherford of Gallipolis, OH; sister: Roberta Masters of Gallipolis, OH; 4 Grandchildren: Jamie Hall, Cole Wilson, A.J. (Leslie) Wilson, and Kyle Wilson; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Nick Daily, Juliet Daily and Alyssa Wilson.

Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Mound Hill Cemetery Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Gerry Sadai officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church (Building Fund) 3022 Sugar Valley Drive Eaton, Ohio 45320.
