June Luana (Stayton) Swihart age 98, of Eldorado, Ohio passed peacefully in her home on Friday, May 22, 2026, and is now in the arms of Jesus.

June was born on June 15, 1927, in Eldorado, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles V. & Lura L. (Kimmel) Stayton. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service, working in Lewisburg and Eldorado. Member of the Universalist Church in Eldorado and had been active with the Eldorado Zucchini Festival Committee; Gray Lady Volunteer at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

Preceded in death by Husband of 47 years: Jean R. Swihart in 1996; Brother: Jack Stayton in 2021; Son-In-Law: Jeff Miller in 2021 and Gary Little in 2017.

Survivors include her children: Luana Swihart and Kathy Miller both of Eldorado, Ohio; Roxann & Scott Glander of Eaton, Ohio; Kurt & JoEllen Swihart of New Paris, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home – 220 East Main Street – Eaton, Ohio. The Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Monroe Cemetery.
