Joyce S. Waller age 83 of West Alexandria and Eaton, Ohio died on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Greenbrier Care Community in Eaton. Joyce was born on November 12, 1942, in Preble County, Ohio, the daughter of the late James & Helen (Fouts) Redway.
Preceded in death by her daughter: Angie S. Swartz in 2015; Sisters: Helen Redway in 1948, Jackie Bone in 2014, Brother: James “Jimmy” Redway, Jr. in 2014.
Joyce was raised in Camden, Ohio and attended Preble Shawnee School. She had worked at Neaton Auto Products for over 10 years. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and had trained dogs. She loved all kinds of animals, racoons, birds, dogs, cats, and snakes. Her family was loved by her very much and adored her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Scott & Sherri L. Waller of Camden, Ohio. Sisters: MaryAnn Abney of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kathy J. (Ed) Ball and Lorri G. (Dan) Jack both of Xenia, Ohio. 4 Grandchildren: Heather R. (Josh) Boggs of Hamilton, Ohio, Dustin L. Waller of Eaton, Ohio, Andrew C. (Melanie) Swartz of Monroe, Ohio and Sheldon D. (Danielle) Swartz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 4 Great Grandchildren: Eli & Kenzi Boggs, Dexter & Reagan Swartz, several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 P.M. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery – Camden, Ohio.
