Emma L. McGinnis

Emma L. McGinnis, age 90 of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio. Born May 3, 1936, in Hazard, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Charlie & Edith (Potter) Gipson. She was employed at Baxter Lab and Parker-Hannifin Corp. both in Eaton. She loved to sew, cook, paint, enjoyed shopping for antiques and spending time with family and friends telling funny stories.

Preceded in death by Brothers: Ansel Gipson and Theodore Gipson; Sisters: Mary Agnes Carroll; Laura Perkins; Carolyn Gipson and Joyce Davis.

Emma is survived by her Children: Wendell McGinnis, Anthony McGinnis, Crystal Hurston, Manetra & Dennis Kemp all of Eaton, Ohio. Five Grandchildren: and numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A Graveside Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio.
