Danielle N. Combs

Danielle N. Combs, age 51 of West Manchester, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Danielle was born on July 7, 1975, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of Mike & Jan L. (Dispennette) Cook.

Danielle was a 1993 Greenville High School Graduate and a 2014 graduate of Kaplan School of Nursing. She was an artist, avid music listener, lifelong thrifter, and loved to read. As an enjoyer of the finer things in life, she loved time spent at the beach, and a good cup of coffee. Danielle was a rock for those around her, with the selfless need to care for her family and others.

Survived by her husband: Christopher R. Combs; Parents: Mike, Jan & Janie Medaris and Macy Metzger; Children: Ethan & Courtney Abelquist, Tristan & Abby Abelquist, Thor A. Abelquist; Grandchildren: Eleanor Abelquist, Odin Abelquist, Nova R. King-Abelquist, Creedence & Scooby Abelquist; Brothers: Brian F. Combs and David Cook; Sisters: Jaime J. Cook and Sue McFadden.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street – New Paris, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service with family sharing will be at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
