William Logan Hunt

WILLIAM LOGAN “BILL” HUNT, age 72 of Camden, Ohio, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Born on March 15, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Henry L. & Mabel (Phillips) Hunt. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a field medic and in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Bill had worked as a truck driver for over 50 years for many companies with millions of miles of safe and accident free driving. He was an avid hunter for many years and enjoyed eating with friends at Tamara’s Kitchen in Camden, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Christina Hunt in 2002; sisters, Geraldine Lear in 1975 and Joann “Nan” Walters in 2003; brother-in-law, Gene Lear in 1967.

Survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, William “Billy” & Carol Hunt, Jr., Earl “Gene” & Kim Hunt all of Camden, Ohio and Robert “Bobby” Hunt of West Elkton, Ohio; grandchildren, Cindy, Billy, Ashley, Earl, “Bubby” Jr., Whitney and Wyatt; brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Tamara Hunt of Rahway, New Jersey; sister & brother-in-law, Betts & Dean McCaullay of Greenwood, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, Don Walters of Fredricktown, Ohio; special niece, Bonnie Smeal; special friends and hunters, Harlen Asher, J.B. Asher, Callaway Asher, Jeremy Asher, Bennett Lewis, and Charlie Johnson; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Gary Agee officiating. Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
