William Charles Collins, Sr.

WILLIAM CHARLES COLLINS, SR., age 62, of West Manchester, OH died Monday, July 21, 2003 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN after an extended illness. Born on June 30, 1941 in Richmond, IN, he was the son of the late Joseph Charles & Theresa Marie (Kitchel) Collins. He retired in 1987 after serving in the Indiana National Guard for 26 years; He had worked at LePaul Gas Station until 1990. Member of the Grace Brethren Church in West Alexandria, OH; Member of the American Legion Clarence Teaford Post # 360 of New Paris, OH. Preceded in death by Wife: Patricia J. (Lane) Collins in 1996; Sister: Sandra K. Casteel in 2001.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: William C. & Teresa Collins, Jr. of West Manchester, OH; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Beverly A. Lane, Tammy S. Collins and Jackie L. & Jeff Stigleman of Richmond, IN, Eva M. Collins and Roberta K. & John P. McMurray of West Alexandria, OH; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Theresa M. & Donald Lawhorn and Mary J. Renyer of Richmond, IN; 19 Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2003, 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH with Pastor Harold Combs officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Springlawn Cemetery at New Paris, OH.
