Wanda V. Hopper

Wanda V. Hopper, age 77, of Englewood, passed away Thursday, June 5th, 2014 at Cypress Pointe Health Campus, Englewood, following an extended illness. She was born on January 24, 1937 in McKee, Kentucky. She was retired from Frigidaire Division of GM.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Raymond Hopper, former Superintendent of Montgomery County Schools, in 1993, and by her parents, Farris Vickers in 1980 & Della Vickers in 1993, her sister, Edith Vickers Allen in 2000, and her brother, James Vernon Vickers in 2006.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Raymond Vickers, Dayton & Darrell Vickers, Fayetteville, NC; 3 Sister-in-laws, Vera Sue Vickers, Dayton, OH & Nina Vickers, Owingsville, KY & Hope Vickers, Fayetteville, NC; 3 loving nieces, Judy Waara, Redford, MI, Janet Ephraim, Las Vegas, NV & Ashley McNeill, Fayetteville, NC; 5 loving nephews, Raymond Vickers, Jr., Lewisburg, OH, Timothy Vickers, Athens, OH, Paul Vickers, Vandalia, OH, Christopher Vickers, Troy & Jeffrey Vickers, Salt Lick, KY; 3 great-nieces, Rachel Vickers, Sarah Vickers & Melissa Ephraim,; 4 great nephews, Ryan Vickers, Travis Vickers, Bradley Ephraim & Gregory Waara.

At Wanda's request, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH.
