Violet Lucille Hoffman

VIOLET L. HOFFMAN, 100, of LaBelle, Florida and formerly of Land-O-Lakes, Florida and Brookville, Ohio, died Monday, January 7, 2008 in LaBelle. Violet was born on October 28, 1907 in Montgomery County, Ohio, daughter of Arthur and Mary Elizabeth(Shank) Reed. She was a 1925 graduate of Brookville High School. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert E. Hoffman in 1996 and her daughter, Mary Lou Hoffman in 1933; Brothers: Charles L. and O. Richard Reed and Sister Zora (Reed) Steck.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Marion Hoffman of Bull Shoalls, Arkansas; grandchildren, Thomas(Carol) Hoffman of LaBelle, Michelle(Bruce) Doras of Lakeland, Florida, John (Elaine) Hoffman of Fort Myers, Florida and Tim (Mary Jo) Hoffman of Leesburg, Florida; great-grandchildren, Jenna Hoffman, Adam and Emma Doras, Cody Hoffman, Dustin Hoffman and Hadley Hoffman.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Verona Cemetery, in Verona, Ohio with Pastor Rodney Brower officiating.
