Shirley A. Hoops

SHIRLEY A. HOOPS, age 69, of West Manchester, Ohio died Saturday, July 2, 2011. Shirley was born on November 25, 1941 in New Lexington, Ohio, daughter of the late, Kenneth & Betty E. (Crowe) Hoops, Sr. She graduated in 1959 from Lewisburg High School. Shirley retired in 2010 after 25 years as a rural route mail carrier for the US Post Office in Texas. She also enjoyed being a hairdresser for many years.

Preceded by her daughter-in-law, Tabie Booso in 2009; brother, Kenneth O. Hoops, Jr. in 2005; sisters, Marilyn L. Antonis in 1982 and Carolyn Magby in 2010.

Survived by her children, Robert A. Booso of West Manchester, Ohio, Steven S. Booso of Lewisburg, Ohio, Mark W. Booso of Lewisburg, Ohio, Karen A. Booso of West Manchester, Ohio, and Randy F. Booso of Eaton, Ohio; brother, Richard Hoops of Grand Junction, Colorado; grandchildren, Jacob, Scott, Silina, Zachery, Kasey, Brett, Greg Jr., Nathaniel, and Tiffany; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
