Shannon F Dungan

Shannon F. Dungan, age 70, of New Paris, Ohio, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence. Shannon was born on March 7, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Byron & Mary Frances (Murphy) Davis. She was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson High School in New Paris. She had worked at C.R. Coblentz School as a bus driver, made bicycles for Huffy in Richmond, Indiana, was as assembler at Belden in Richmond and Parker at both Eaton & Lewisburg, Ohio. She was an Avon representative for over 25 years. Shannon also worked the election polls for over 30 years. Member of the Presbyterian Church in New Paris. Preceded in death by her brother, Mike Davis.

Survived by her husband of 51 years, Ralph E. Dungan of New Paris; children, Alycia (Tony) Dudley and Sean Dungan all of New Paris; grandchildren, Matthew and Aleeha; siblings, Gary (Georgianna) Davis, Kathy McCreary and Kevin (Kellie) Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 301 E. Main St., New Paris, OH 45347.
