Ruth E. Brock

RUTH E. BROCK, age 85 of Oxford, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at The Knolls of Oxford. Born on April 15, 1927 in Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late John H. & Ina L. (Cornthwaite) Holt. Ruth retired in 1992 after 25 years of service as a Food Production Leader at Miami University. Preceded in death by son-in-law: Tony Pyfrin in 2007; brother: Gordon Holt in 2001 and sister: Elsie Bradburn in 2007.

Survived by son: Dennis Brock of Oxford, OH; daughters & sons-in-law: Carolyn & James Seals of Eaton, OH; Jan Pyfrin of College Corner, OH; Ginny Perry and Joyce & Don Boyd both of Middletown, OH; sister: Linda Estep of Oxford, OH and brother: Francis Holt of Waco, TX; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Somerville Presbyterian Church - 207 Walnut St - Somerville, Ohio with James Seals officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Church. Interment will be in Somerville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes – Eaton, OH.
