Ronald James Pierce

RONALD "RON" JAMES PIERCE, age 70 of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at his residence. Born on November 21, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kenneth Benjamin & Emma Mary (Post) Pierce. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Member of the I.B.E.W. Local #82 for over 40 years. Member of the Curli Q's Square Dance Club for three years. Ron has lived in Eaton since 1988.

Preceded by his brothers, David Kenneth Pierce in 2006 and Gerald Lee Pierce in 2007.

Survived by his wife of 44 years, Lois Jean (Kenzik) Pierce of Eaton, Ohio; daughters, Lori Marie Pierce of Dayton, Ohio and Juile Marie Pierce of Cambridge City, Indiana; sons & daughters-in-law, Ronald James II & Mary Katherine Pierce of Enon, Ohio and Patrick William & Nicole Lee Pierce of Eaton, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Marilyn & Raymond "Ray" Tebbe of Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio; grandchildren, Justin Ryan, James Gabriel, Jonathan Russell and Joshua Ross Campbell, Jordan Reese Pierce, Ronald James III, Zoe Cheyenne, Caitlin Mae and Ian Silas Pierce, Reagan Nicole Pierce, and one more expected in September; great grandchild, Mica Zahara Campbell; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 - 12:00 p.m. at Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, Ohio with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 p.m at the funeral home.

Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
