Rona L. Studebaker

Rona L. Studebaker age 80 of Arcanum, Butler Township, Ohio died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her residence. Born on January 15, 1936 in Batavia, Clermont County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Earl P. & Irene M. (Spaulding) Gibson. Rona was a breast cancer survivor; member of Twin Creek Chapel and was a supporter for Make A Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research and many Veteran's projects. Preceded in death by a grandson: Thomas D. Tedore in 2005; sisters: Thelma Mae Sturgis, Stella M. Hawkey, Betty J. Rehmert and Wilda J. Blankenship; brothers: William E. Gibson and Wilber L. Gibson.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years: Franklin D. Studebaker, Sr.; children: Peggy & Tom Tedore of Lewisburg, OH; Franklin & Jann Studebaker, Jr. of Greenville, OH; Retired U.S. Army SSG Michael & Mary Studebaker of Eaton, OH; Rock & Lynn Studebaker of Lewisburg, OH; James & Connie Studebaker of Union City, IN; Brenda & Tim Brannon of Lewisburg, OH and Pam Pyle of Arcanum, OH; brothers: Robert C. Gibson of Verona, OH and Ronald A. Gibson of Lewisburg, OH; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home 411 North Commerce Street Lewisburg, OH. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rodney Shelley and Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Twin Creek Chapel Cemetery.
