Ralph M. Lunsford

Ralph M. Lunsford, 78 of Eaton, OH died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his residence. Born on March 20, 1937 in Whitewater Township, Franklin County, Indiana he was the son of the late Pleas & Hortensea (Kerr) Roark Lunsford. Ralph was a 1956 graduate of Whitewater High School. After graduation, he worked for the B&O Railroad as a telegraph operator in Cincinnati. Moving to California he attended the Northrop Institute of Technology and graduated in 1960. He had worked for Cardinal Air Transport at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Wedekind Aircraft in Middletown and retired in 1994 as the Chief of Maintenance for the Jet Aircraft of Armco Steel in Middletown. He had a private pilot's license and enjoyed flying. Member of Eaton Church of the Brethren in Eaton, OH.

Survived by wife of 55 years: Doris (DeVries) Lunsford; daughters & son-in-law: Debora & Jeff Keller of Morrow, OH and Linda Duskey of Candor, NY; sisters: Ella Mae Volk, Sylvia Smith; brother: Alan (Beverly) Lunsford; grandchildren: Erin (Chad) Wyllie, Brian (Megan) Vanaski, Chandra (Corey) Keesler, Nick Duskey, Elizabeth Duskey, Phoebe Keller and Heather Keller; 10 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH and the funeral service will be 11:00 AM with Dr. Rev. Dan Denlinger and Pastor Stan VanAusdal officiating at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.
