PHYLLIS I. SMITH, age 95 of Eaton Ohio died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, OH. Born on June 24, 1917 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Nevin A. & Ruth E. (Weaver) Hoffman. She was a 1935 graduate of Farmersville High School. She married Roy E. Smith on August 12, 1938 and lived in Farmersville, OH until 1962. A member of the Eaton United Church of Christ, Alpha Garden Club and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Chapter #155 at Farmersville. She attended Comptometer School in Dayton and had worked in the treasurer's office at Lowe Brothers Paint Co. in Dayton.

Preceded in death by Husband: Roy E. Smith in 1997; Brother: Marion K. "Bud" Hoffman in 1993.

Survived by Daughter: Sue Ann Smith; Son and Daughter-in-law: Robert R. (Barbara) Smith, all of Eaton. Nieces and Nephews.

Private Graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton with Rev. Roger Stine officiating. No Public Calling.
