Norma Jean (Corey) Whitaker, 81 of New Paris, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Vancrest in Eaton, OH. Born on January 13, 1934 in Barbosville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leonard & Bertha Corey. Norma Jean had worked at Green Tokai in Brookville, OH for many years. Member of First Baptist Church in New Paris, OH.

Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lee Roy Whitaker in 2012; daughter, Linda Kaufhold in 2003; brother, Edd Corey

Survived by daughters, Becky (Ernie) Stenger of New Paris, OH and Geena Whitaker of Richmond, IN; Chris (Norma Jean) Whitaker of New Paris, OH, Bobby Whitaker of New Paris, OH, Eddie Whitaker of New Paris, OH, Corky (Lisa) Whitaker of Union City, IN and Paul Whitaker of Richmond, IN; sisters, Ann, Eva and Sandy; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
