Nancy Jeanette Crowell

Nancy Jeanette Crowell, age 50, of New Paris, OH died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on September 27, 1955 in Celina, Ohio she graduated from University of Cincinnati with an Associates Degree and in 1988 received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wright State University. Since 1995 she was an Assistant Librarian with the Preble County District Library in Eaton working in the Genealogy Department. Member of the Preble County Genealogy Association; Ohio Library Council; St. John’s Catholic Church of New Paris; Tomahawk Brotherhood; Fort St. Clair Black Powder Club; Harley - Davidson Owners Association; Life Member of VFW Post 5713 Ladies Auxiliary of Celina, OH and during the past Christmas years had been Mrs. Claus. She loved her grandchildren, camping, hunting and riding her Harley motorcycle. Preceded in death by sister: Cathy Huber in 2005.

Survived by husband of 18 years: Marvin J. Crowell; Sons & daughter-in-law: Kelly J. Crowell of New Paris, OH and Dustin J. & Mandy Crowell of St. Mary’s Ohio. Daughter & son-in-law: Dawn & Mark Sims of Springboro, OH. Parents: James K. & Mary (Kohnen) Hart of Celina, OH. Brothers: Jim Hart of Celina, OH; Dan Hart of Middletown, OH; Rick Hart of the Netherlands and Kevin Hart of Chillicothe, OH. 7 Grandchildren: Stephen Crowell, Payton Crowell, Harper Sims, Gannon Sims, Kaitlyn Dawson, Ashley Dawson and Autumn Crowell.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 - 7:00 pm at Barnes Funeral Home -109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH 45347 with Rev. Todd Riebe officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH. on Wednesday December 28, 2005 - 11:00 am.
