Marjorie Lawson

MARJORIE LAWSON, 70 of Union City, Ohio and formerly of West Manchester, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Union City Care Center in Union City, Ohio. Marjorie was born on June 28, 1941 in Preble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett C. and Edna W. (Shinn) Shell. She was a dresser at Scott's Turkey Farm in Greenville, Ohio for many years.

In addition to her parents Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paul "Hoppie" Lawson and her sister, Marcia Amabisca; nephews, Paul Baker, Jr. and Thomas Wayne Hampshire; niece, Misty DeFevers Johnson; grandson, Charles E. Lawson, Jr.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Charles & Lucy Lawson and William & Marcia Lawson both of Union City, Ohio, Henry "Kelley" Lawson of New Paris, Ohio and James Lawson of Union City, Ohio; daughter, Denise Pouder of Michigan; sisters, Virginia Baker of West Manchester and Sandy Hall of Union City, Ohio; brother, Paul "Eddie" Shell of West Manchester, Ohio; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 22,, 2012 at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with Chaplain Candy Null officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes- Lewisburg Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family via the web site at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
