Marilyn Thomas

Marilyn Thomas, 84, of Eaton, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Vancrest Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on December 15, 1927 in Camden, OH, she was the daughter of the late John Thurlow & Arline Marie (Morton) Hart. Marilyn was 1945 graduate of Dixon Twp. High School, a member of the former Camden Presbyterian Church where she was the organist for 28 years, Preble County Senior Citizens and was a member of the Eastern Star #225 in Oxford, OH. Preceded in death by her husband: John E. Thomas in 2002; Brother: Harold Keith Hart in 1944.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Cheryl (Kent) Orr, Liberty, IN, Linda (Gerald) Creager, Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Eric (Shannon) Orr, Liberty, IN and Anjanette Harvey and Fiancé Scott Mikesell, Richmond, IN; Great Grandchildren: Bailey & Summer Harvey and Nicholas Orr.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Eastern Star Service will be held at 12:30 p.m.
