Marilyn Rose (Burtch) Holzapfel

Marilyn Rose (Burtch) Holzapfel, age 84 of New Paris, Ohio died, Monday, May 12, 2008. Born on June 20, 1923 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Fred E. & Gladys M. (Pierson) Burtch. Marilyn attended the First United Presbyterian Church in New Paris.

Preceded in death by brother, Fred E. Burtch, Jr. in 1944.

Survived by her husband, H. Robert Holzapfel of New Paris, Ohio; daughters & sons-in-law, Tammy & Mike Lipps of New Paris, Ohio and Lisa & Dan Notary of Modesto, California; son & daughter-in-law, James Robert & Pat Holzapfel of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Nichole Lipps, Michael Lipps, Shawn Notary, Sarah Notary, Matthew Notary, Kristen Notary, & Amanda Linn; brothers, Robert C. Burtch and James Monroe Burtch.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Dennis Andrews officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
