Marie Bach

MARIE BACH, age 91 of New Paris, OH, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Heartland of Eaton, OH. Born on January 10, 1920 in Lee County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Pearl (Tharp) Maupin. Member of the American Legion Auxiliary at New Paris, she retired in 1982 from the Holiday Inn in Richmond, IN, member Gospel Baptist church in New Paris, OH. Preceded in death by her husband: Hubert Bach in 1966, sons: E. Stanley Bach and Clinnie R Bach, daughter: Brenda C King, brother: Wilton Maupin, sister: Ruby Spencer, special friend: Milburn John "Tex" Lund.

She is survived by daughter: Wanda L. Melody of New Paris, OH, son: Farrell D Bach of Greensboro, NC, sister: Jean Marshall of Lee County, KY, brother: Virl Maupin of KY. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH with Rev Gilmer Smith officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. - 2;00 p.m. at the funeral home.
