Margaret A. Cottingim

Margaret A. Cottingim age 88 formerly of Camden, Somers Township, Ohio died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Wayne Hospital in Greenville, OH. Born on May 21, 1920 in Owsley County, KY she was the daughter of the late William & Leuticia (Marshall) Calahan. Margaret was active at the Preble County Senior Citizens Center and had worked at the Once Around Shop in Eaton. She was a member of the Preble County Cloggers Association. Preceded in death by her husband: Sherman "Newt" Cottingim in 1976; son Tommy Cottingim in 1976, daughter: Carol Kennedy in 2005; several brothers & sisters.

Survived by Sons & daughters-in-law: Ray & Nancy Cottingim of New Paris, OH; Ralph Cottingim and Keith & Karen Cottingim of Camden, OH; Daughters & sons-in-law: Mary & Dave Anderson of Eaton, OH; Alice & Vince Keegan of Camden, OH and Susie Cottingim of Gratis, OH; 16 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on 10:00 AM Wednesday March 11, 2009 at the First Baptist Church - 1320 North Maple Street - Eaton, OH with Rev. Fred Hill officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, OH Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery - Camden, OH.
