Lucie Mchenry

Lucie McHenry, 69, of Ellenton, Florida and formerly of Dayton, Ohio, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Ellenton Hospice House in Palmetto, Florida. She was the wife of Donald L. McHenry, to whom she would have been married 16 years in September 2015. Born in Lebanon, Ohio on December 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Boss and Mary (Roark) Saylor. She was a 1977 graduate of Sinclair School of Nursing and she had worked as a Registered Nurse in several private practices throughout her career in the Dayton area.

Preceded in death by brothers Charles Saylor in 1992 and Samuel Saylor in 2004.

In addition to her husband Donald L. McHenry, she is survived by a daughter, Angela Nicole (Eikenberry) Slusher, wife of Jim Slusher of Englewood, Ohio; grandchildren, Ashton, Jaren, and Karsyn Slusher; sisters, JoAnn and Ruby Peak both of Camden, Ohio; and a brother, Benjamin Saylor of Lebanon, Ohio.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. Online condolences may be sent via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
