Lois M. Cooper

LOIS M. COOPER, age 92, of Eaton, Ohio died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on November 21, 1912 in Lanier Township(Preble County), Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Ethel (Petry) Beasley. She attended Manchester College and was a school teacher for the Eaton City Schools for 27 years and taught in the Preble County school system for 3 years. She retired in 1970. Member of the Ohio and Preble County Teachers Associations and the Eaton Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by daughter: Patricia L. Brubaker in 1988 and brother: Arthur Beasley in 1973.

Survived by her Husband of 70 years: Charles M. Cooper; Sisters: Kathryn Crowell of West Alexandria and Mary E. Petry of Trotwood, Ohio and Special Son-in-law: Ed Brubaker of Eaton, Ohio; Three Grandchildren: Charles Brubaker, Jayne Medlock and Jeffrey Brubaker.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren- 1407 North Barron Street- Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Martin L. Peacock and Rev. Wes Brubaker officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery - West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 4 :00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio.
