Levi J. Farmer

LEVI J. FARMER, 82, of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 26, 1926 in Selma, Alabama, he was the son of the late Everette Earl & Nora (Hinton) Farmer. He retired in 1982 after 20 years with Lenox Trucking in Cincinnati. He was a member and Elder of the West Elkton Church of Christ and was a U.S. Navy WW II and Korean Conflict veteran. He enjoyed fishing. Preceded in death by wife: Virginia Pearl "June" Farmer in 2004, brothers: Everette Earl Farmer, Jr., Alton Farmer and Paul Farmer; sisters: Florence Caplinger, Dorothy Engleman and Lillian Arnold.

Survived by her daughters & sons-in-law: Anita (Karl) Bergman, Eaton, OH, Debra (Bill) Sayre, Hamilton, OH, Gail (Tom) Morrison, Eaton, OH, Bari Bailey, Camden, OH. 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the West Elkton Church of Christ, 12153 St. Rt. 503 South, West Elkton, Ohio with Brother Eloy Encinias officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Interment will be held in Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio and one hour prior to service at the church.
