LEONA C. HUGHES, age 99 of Madisonville, Tennessee and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Thursday, September 18, 2003 at her residence in Madisonville. Born on September 6, 1904 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. & Blanche B. (Durflinger) Morris. Preceded in death by Husband: William Lonzo Hughes in 1996; Son: William M. Hughes in 1944; Sisters: Edith Toney, Virginia Davis, Waneta Johnson and Lillian Hill; Brothers: Richard, Walter, William L. and Charles Morris.

Survivors: Daughter & Son-in- law: Betty & Fred Brown, Green Bay, Wisc; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Robert L. Hughes, Madisonville, TN; Jack D. & Doris Hughes, Richmond, IN; Kenneth A. & Jeannine Hughes, Warner Robins, GA; Sister: Ellen Calvin, FL; Brother: Donald Morris, AZ; 16 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, 22 Great Great Grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2003 - 10:00 A.M. (Ohio time) in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Randy Brady officiating.
