Leila M. Silver

Leila M. Silver age 85, of Camden, OH. died Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Woodland Country Manor Nursing Home near Somerville, OH. Born on May 22, 1920 in Liberty, Union County, Indiana the daughter of the late Perry & Mabel (Gainey) Davis. Leila was a 1938 graduate of Short High School in Liberty, Indiana. She was a member of the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church and was active with the United Methodist Women. She and her husband James O. Silver were Dixon Township farmers. <br><br>Preceded in death by Husband of 60 years James O. Silver in 2000; Son: James David Silver in 1978; Brothers: Robert C. Davis in 1978; Earl Davis in 2000 and Wilbur G. Davis in 1989; Sisters: Edith M. Hinkel in 1987; Francis L. Willet in 1992 and Dorothy J. Fries.<br><br>Survived by Daughter and Son-In-Law: Cheri S. & Michael Corsi of Camden, OH. Two grandchildren: Mellissa Corsi & Michael James Corsi. One Great Granddaughter: Julia Marie Fourman. Brothers: Donald Davis of Hamilton, Ohio and Phillip Davis of Clovis, N.M.; Nieces and Nephews. <br><br>Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 10, 2005 - 2:00 pm (Ohio Time) at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, OH, with the Rev. George Copus officiating. Interment will be in the Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, OH.
