Janet E. Roy

JANET E. ROY, 52, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on April 17, 1959, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Rev. Richard L. & Janet (Kelso) Sowers. Janet was a 1976 graduate of Richmond High School in Richmond, Indiana; a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Richmond. Janet was active with her children in 4H and was a Cub Scout leader.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joseph A. Roy; daughter, Heather M. Roy and son, Kevin A. Roy both of Lewisburg; brothers, Richard Sowers of Anderson, Indiana, Lawrence B. Sowers of Texas and Louis C. Sowers of Washington.

Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor John Walker officiating.
