Hazel B. Hamm

HAZEL B. HAMM age 93, of Eaton, Ohio died Friday, May 28, 2004 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on April 5, 1911 at Brookville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Vera (Hustead) Bennett. She was a 1929 Graduate of Lanier High School at West Alexandria, Ohio; Attended Miami Jacobs in Dayton, Ohio for two years; Legal Secretary for eight years in Dayton, Ohio; Owned and Operated the Arcadia Bowling Lanes in Eaton, Ohio with her husband from 1952 to 1975; Member First Presbyterian Church in Eaton, Ohio. Preceded in death by her Brother and Sister-In-Law: Wayne & Deannie Bennett.

Survived by her Husband of 69 years: Joseph O. Hamm. Son: Stephen B. Hamm of Yellow Springs, ohio. Daughters and Son-In-Law: Barbara L. “Barb” Weadick of Miamisburg, Ohio and Elizabeth A. “Liz” & Donald E. Smith of Eaton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Mark J. (Lisa) Weadick, Andrew D. (Shari) Weadick, Dr. Patrick D. Weadick, Melissa K. (Larry) Burkett and Deron E. (Angela) Smith. Great Grandchildren: Paul Weadick, Brenna Weadick, Ben Smith, Jake Smith, Hannah Weadick, Will Weadick, Lindsey Burkett, Ryan Burkett, Tyler Burkett, Lauren Parker, Jenna Smith, Twins: Jakob and Alivia Smith. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2004 - 11:00 AM at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Lillian Gillespie officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery at West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
