Harry M. Ramsey

HARRY MOYER RAMSEY, 89, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Reid Hospital and Healthcare Services in Richmond, Indiana. Born on November 4, 1919 in Lewisburg, Ohio he was the son of the late Robert H. & Lillie (Moyer) Ramsey. Harry graduated in 1938 from Lewisburg Union High School. He was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He retired in 1975 from Harrison Radiator/Delco Air and was a Preble County Farmer for many years. Member of the New Paris American Legion Post 360.

Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Elvina (Mikalauskas) Ramsey in 2008.

Survived by his daughters & son-in-law, Kathy & Alan Eley of Lewisburg and Lisa Ramsey of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Vanessa and Greg Eley both of Lewisburg, Ohio; brothers-in-law & spouses, George & Frances Mikalauskas of Dayton, Ohio and Frank & Florence Mikalauskas of Pine Valley, California; sisters-in-law, Connie Zilinkas, Gloria Mikalauskas and Adella Mikalas all of Dayton, Ohio and Ellie Mikalauskas of San Diego, California; special cousins, Ted Moyer and Marjorie Weiser both of Brookville, Ohio; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the funeral home.
