George Joseph Youhouse

GEORGE “JOE” YOUHOUSE, age 84, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton, Ohio after an extended illness. Born on February 13, 1919 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Kosko) Youhouse. Retired in 1974 after 25 years of service as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Member of the D. A. V. # 104 of Lewisburg, Ohio; V.F.W.; American Legion; Lewisburg Lions Club and a past president. Preceded in death by his Brother: Michael Youhouse in 1998.

Survived by his loving wife of 37 years: Chitsuko “Chee” (Mori) Youhouse of Lewisburg, Ohio; Sister: Sophia P. Trittschuh of Lewisburg, Ohio; 1 Nephew and 1 Niece.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church - 200 West Dayton Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 1, 2003 -12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
