Emma Jo Lewis

Emma Jo Lewis, age 70, of Palm Desert, California died on May 27, 2005 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. Born on August 13, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late James & Dorothy (Tschanz) Peak. She had worked as a payroll accountant for 20 years. Preceded in death by husband of 47 years: Donald R. Lewis in 1978.

Survived by daughter: Pamela J. Hammons of New Madison, Ohio; son: Timothy Lewis of Indio, California; sister: Donna Wright of Reno, Nevada; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Interment will be held at 11:00 AM (Ohio Time) on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
