Emma Inez Rothwell

EMMA INEZ “INIE” ROTHWELL, age 95, of Eaton, OH and formerly of The Gables at Singing Woods in Dayton, OH, died Tuesday November 20, 2007 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, OH. Born on October 19, 1912 at Catoosa, TN, she was the daughter of the late Elam and Mary (Strutton) Goddard. Emma was a co-founder of the Full Gospel Temple in 1971 at Eaton, OH. She and her late husband, Dr. Charles H. Rothwell who died in 1986 had lived in the Eaton area since 1955. She was a Honorary member of the ladies committee, Full Gospel Fellowship Churches and Ministers International. Preceded in death by brothers: Fredrick, James, Wiley and Riley Goddard. Sisters: Lesa Goddard, Eva Mae Berry and Lora Allison; Daughter-in-law: June Rothwell; Son-in-law: Bill Calhoun.

She is survived by her children and spouses: James H. Rothwell, Tampa, FL, V. Irene Calhoun of Springfield, OH, Raymond E. & Mary Rothwell, Eaton, OH, Barbara J. & Carroll Wright, Johns Creek, GA, Ralph E. & Liela Rothwell, West Manchester, OH; Brother: Roscoe Goddard, New Lebanon, OH; Sisters: Bernice Milby, Troy, OH, Mardella Sink, West Alexandria, OH and Juanita Orrill, Eaton, OH. 19 grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 18 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 11:00 a.m. at the Full Gospel Temple - 4745 U.S. Rt. 127 N. - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Kenneth E. Harbaum & Rev. H. Denny Helton officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 2 - 6 p.m. at The Rothwell Family Life Center at Full Gospel Temple - 4745 U.S. Rt. 127 N. - Eaton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home - Eaton, Ohio.
