Elizabeth M. Longnecker

ELIZABETH M. LONGNECKER, age 87, formerly of Lewisburg, OH and Bradenton, FL, died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center in Brookville, OH. Born on July 3, 1918 in Brookville, OH, she was the daughter of the late James Blaine and Clara (Dunkle) Fleagle. She was a graduate of Brookville High School and the Miami Jacobs School of Business. Member of the Ideal Chapter #293 Order of the Eastern Star; member and organist of the Calvary United Methodist Church, both in Lewisburg, OH. She also volunteered to play the piano for several organizations. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Longnecker in 1998; a daughter: Susan Longnecker Jordan in 1993; sisters: Isabelle Shank and Mable Siler.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sandra & James Adams of Pontiac, IL. Grandchildren: Amy Elizabeth (Paul) Lamermayer, Gene Andrew (Amy) Jordan Jr., Andrea Eva (Clay) Robertson and Angela Maria Jordan. Ten great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church - 3147 U.S. Rte 40 East, Lewisburg, OH with the Rev. Mike Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m. with Eastern Star Services at 11:45 at the church.
