Dr. Gregory James Ewing

Dr. Gregory James Ewing, age 34, died suddenly Wednesday, May 12, 2004 in Oceanside, California as the result of a traffic accident. Born October 11, 1969 in Orlando, Florida, he was a long time resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. He lived in Oceanside for 2 ½ years. He was a chemist for Biota Inc., a biotech company in Carlsbad, California. Gregory was a graduate of Hanover University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He received his graduate degree from Purdue University. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Vista, California and was an avid bicyclist. Preceded in death by his father: James T. Ewing and his grandparents: Mary Ewing, Jack and Vilva Roll; Step-Grandfather: Robert Price Sr.

Dr Ewing is survived by his wife of 10 years, Deborah Ewing, son Jacob (5) and daughter Elizabeth (3), all of Oceanside, California. Mother and stepfather: Bonnie and William Price of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brother: Jeremy Ewing; Sister: Amy Ewing; Grandparents: Eugene Ewing of Eaton, Ohio and Martha Price of Cincinnati, Ohio. Many relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Dr. Gregory Ewing, grandson of Eugene Ewing is scheduled for 5:30 P.M., Saturday, June 12, 2004 at College Hill Presbyterian Church, 5742 Hamilton Avenue (US Route 127) Cincinnati, Ohio with Rev Steven Eyre officiating .
