Deborah Jean Vice

Deborah “Debbie” Jean (Bishop) Vice, age 52, of Hamilton, Ohio went to her heavenly home with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2004 following a lengthy illness at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Born on September 19, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio she was a 1970 Middletown Madison High School graduate and sang with the Up With People singing group. Debbie was a faithful Christian and member of the Poasttown First Church of God in Middletown, Ohio. Preceded in death by her father Albert Bishop in 2003 and one step-sister.

She was united in marriage August 1, 1970 to Michael Ray Vice and they were blessed with two daughters, Rae Jean (Vice) Creech of Hamilton; son-in-law Larry Creech of Hamilton, Ohio; Tammy Vice and husband Terry Stroop of Farmersville, Ohio; Seven Grandchildren: Josh Stroop, Larry Creech, Jr., Shawn Vice, Jake Stroop, Harleigh Stroop, Carrigan Creech, and Haylee Vice. Mother Mary and husband John Back of Middletown, Ohio; Step-mother: Lois Bishop of West Chester, Ohio; Two Brothers: Ron Bishop of Florida and Dennis Back of West Alexandria, Ohio; Three Sisters: Susan Howell of Middletown, OH, Sandy (Ray) Barnett of New Miami, Ohio and Terry (Larry) Sheldon of West Chester, Ohio; Two step-brothers, three step-sisters, host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. All have been left to cherish her memory.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. - Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery- Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the funeral home.
