Charles H. Mccullough, Sr.

Charles H. McCullough, Sr., age 73 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Friday, July 25, 2003 at his residence after an extended illness. Born on May 20, 1930 in Montgomery County, Ohio he was the son of the late Mack J. & Nellie (Lawson) McCullough. He was a 1949 Stivers High School graduate in Dayton and served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired in 1987 after 30 years of service with Standard Register in Dayton, Ohio. Member of Lewisburg First Missionary Baptist Church; American Legion Post 213 of Lewisburg; Commanders Club D.A.V.; D.A.V. Post 104 of Lewisburg; LaSociete Des 40 Hommes Et 8 Chevauk - 40 & 8; Preble County Coon Hunters; Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary and Buckeye State Sheriffs’ Association. Preceded in death by Wife: Dorothy L. (Newkirk) McCullough in 1985; Brother Harrison R. McCullough in 2002.
Survived by Son: Charles “Chuck” McCullough, Jr. of Lewisburg, Ohio; Brother: Paul E. McCullough of Dayton, Ohio; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 - 12:00 P.M. at Lewisburg First Missionary Baptist Church - 608 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. George W. Pennington officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 30, 2003 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with full military graveside services provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio.
