Charla Jean Snyder

CHARLA J. SNYDER, age 60, of New Paris, Ohio, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Heartland of Eaton in Eaton following an extended illness. She was born on March 13, 1947 in Richmond, Indiana and had worked in quality control at the Cin-Ram Company in Richmond prior to her illness. She was a 1965 Jefferson High School graduate and had graduated from the Anderson Beauty College in Richmond. She attended the St. John Catholic Church in New Paris. She loved making crafts and playing bingo with her family and friends and she loved to go mushroom hunting. She is preceded in death by her husband, David M. “Mike” Snyder in 1983; her mother, Katherine (Coning) Brown in 2000 and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer J. Snyder in 2004.

She is survived by her son, Todd Snyder of New Paris and her daughter, Angela Snyder of Brookville, Ohio; Father and step-mother: Charles “Mac” & Helen McEldowney of Richmond; Sister and brother-in-law: Deneice & Jeff Whitaker of Greenfield, Indiana; Grandson and wife, Jeromy & Kristin Rose of Columbus, Ohio and Great grandson, Beau Kessler Rose; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am , Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio 45347 with Rev. Martin L. Peacock officiating.Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
