Bessie Taylor

Bessie "Christine" Taylor, age 79, of Lewisburg, OH, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on August 29, 1931 in Kings Mills, OH she was the daughter of the late Charles J. & Mabel Hoyt (Lane) Weber. Bessie was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and Life member of the West Milton V.F.W. She served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: Paul E. Taylor, Sr. in 1999; son Michael H. Taylor in 1982 and Granddaughter: Tiffany DeLong in 1985; Brothers & Sisters: Carl W. Weber, Arthur F. Weber, Paul L. Weber, Hildaguard A. Weber and O. Esther Chappell.

Survived by three sons & daughters-in-law: Paul E. Taylor, Jr. of Sweet Springs, MO; James B. & Debbie Taylor of Arcanum, OH and Robert C. & Jena Taylor of Clermont, FL. Four daughters & sons-in-law: Juanita D. & Phillip Kiel of Smithsburg, MD, Jennifer F. & Tony Truesdale of Brookville, OH; Virginia M. & Gorden Litchfield of Dayton, OH and Evelyn L. & Patrick McDonnell of Morrow, OH; 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 U.S. Route 40 East, Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Dan Gildner officiating. Interment with be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH
