BENJAMIN W. FIESELMANN, age 89 of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on July 27, 1913 in Fosterburg, Illinois, he was the son of the late Benjamin A. & Dora (Langenberg) Fieselmann. He was a 1930 graduate of Freeport High School in Freeport, Illinois. He graduated in 1934 from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. While at the University of Dubuque he was a member of the Football and Track teams. He was a 1938 graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he received his law degree. He served as the Contract Examiner with the General Accounting Office of the U.S. Government from 1935 to 1942; from 1942 to 1946 he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Air Corp in the Legal branch, Procurement Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base during World War II and from 1946 to 1979 he served as the Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer in the Tax Department, Trust Division, of Winters National Bank and Trust Co.(now Bank One) in Dayton, Ohio. Member of the Dayton and Ohio Bar for a half century. Past Elder and Choir member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton, Ohio. Preceded in death by his Wife: Eleanor (Hecathorn) Fieselmann in 1998, whom he married July 12, 1946; Sister: Clara Fieselmann in 1998 and Brother: Raymond Fieselmann in 2002.

Survivors include his Son and Daughter-in-law: Benjamin F. & Lynn Francesconi Fieselmann of Bridgewater, New Jersey; Daughter and Son-in-law: Anne & Thomas Wehrly of College Station, Texas; Son and Daughter-in-law: Daniel A. & Vivian Fieselmann of Raleigh, North Carolina; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Henry & Betty Fieselman of Newton, North Carolina and Dr. George & Ruth Fieselmann of Spencer, Iowa; Sister: Katheryn Farr of Daphne, Alabama; Grandchildren: Heidi, Benjamin, and Krista Fieselmann, Rebecca and Sarah Wehrly and Caroline(Joey) Kirkpatrick. Great Grandchildren: Piper and Maren Kirkpatrick.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2003 - 11:00 A.M. (Ohio time) at First Presbyterian Church - 123 West Decatur St. - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday June 29, 2003 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.(Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main St. - Eaton, Ohio and One hour prior to the service at the church.
