ARLENE M. SNARE, age 84, of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on May 2, 1920 in Columbus Grove, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Samuel & Rose (Garber) Steffen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richmond, Indiana. Preceded in death by Daughter: Margaret Ann Snare in 1953; Son: Francis Snare in 1990; Sister: Bess Green; Brothers: Willis, Andrew & Leonard Steffen.

Survived by Husband of 62 years: Frank L. Snare; Sons & Daughters-in-law: David L. & Gladys Snare, Jacksonville, FL, Charles E. & Karen Snare, Palmer, Alaska; Daughter & Son-in-law: Kay A. & Steven Tarbutton, Gahanna, Ohio; Sisters: Nell Isaacson, Quincy, IL, Ruth (Jack) Coates, Seattle, WA; Brothers: Harry A. (Lois) Steffen, Tampa, FL, John (Marilyn) Steffen, Ft. Myers, FL. 5 Grandchildren: Debra J. Snare, Miami, FL, Michael D. Snare, St. Augustine, FL, Kyle S., Brad A. & Anna M. Tarbutton, all of Gahanna, OH.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2005 - 11:00 a.m. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Minister Lewis Captain officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 17, 2005 from 4 - 6 p.m. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
