Alice C. Denney

ALICE C. DENNEY, age 79 of Bradford, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at The Brethren’s Home in Greenville. Born on October 13, 1926 in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late George & Bessie (Bentley) Collins. Alice had formerly lived in Lewisburg prior to moving to Bradford in 1987. She was a member of the Darke County Steam Threshers Association. Preceded in death by Husband of 45 years: George E. Denney in 1994; Brothers: William, James and Charles Collins.

Survived by Daughter & Son-in-law: Joyce & John Holp, Arcanum, Ohio; Sisters: Mary Rike, Waynesville, Ohio, Edna Shiverdecker, West Alexandria, Ohio; Granddaughter: Tiffany (Matt) Brookey, Arcanum, Ohio; Great Grandchildren: Matthew & Zoe Brookey; 17 Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 - 1:30 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. George W. Pennington officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
