Paul E. "Pete" Creech, 55, of Greenville, OH, died, Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Greenville. He was born on October 3, 1961 in Hamilton, OH. He retired in 2014 after 25 years as a Park Ranger for the State of Ohio, Cowan Lake Region. A 1980 graduate of Twin Valley North High School, 1987 graduate of OPOTA Police Academy in Dayton, former firefighter for the Kings Bay Naval Base, Glynn County, GA F.D. and Lewisburg F.D.; former Police officer for Lewisburg and West Alexandria Police Departments and served as a Corrections officer and Dispatcher for the Preble County Sheriff's office. He organized the Cowan Lake Park Watch, past Lewisburg Council Member and a member of the ODNR Safety Forces FOP Lodge #149.
Preceded in death by his Father: Walter L. "Ozzie" Creech in 2007, Brother-in-law: Bob Little, Jr. in 2016.
Survived by his Wife of 26 years: Shari Lyn (Little) Creech; Son: Ryan (Melody) Creech; Mother: Linda L. (Bratton) Creech; Brother: Randy (Paula) Creech; Nephew: Brady (Sarah) Creech; Niece: Mallory (Jeffrey) Lewis; aunts and uncles: Pug and Dan Weadick, Bob and Pat Creech, Vic Creech and Cinda (Bratton) Hamm. Mother-in-law: Gayle Little; special aunt: Deb Little; special cousins and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with the funeral starting at 12:00 P.M. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH.
