Obituary for William "Joe" Johnson

William "Joe" Johnson, age 65, of New Paris, OH, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  Born on October 23, 1952 in Jackson Co., Kentucky, son of the late Elisha P. & Dorothy (Collins) Johnson.   He worked for Mikesell Ford in New Paris, OH and Fred First Ford in Richmond, IN for over 30 years.   Member of the American Legion, Post 360 in New Paris, OH for 23 years.  

Preceded by his Daughter, Tammy Johnson; Brothers, Dwight Johnson and Ellis Johnson; Great Grandson, Leyden Guenther.  

Survived by his Sons, Robbie (Dee) Johnson and Chad W. Johnson; Step Daughter, Lisa (Korey) Guenther; Special Friend, Crystal Moore; Sisters, Sue Gabbard, Margie Carrier, Carolyn Turner and Ann Cail; Brothers, Jay Johnson and Dale Johnson; Grandchildren, Anthony, Kobey, Jalisa and Kaleb Guenther, Ben (Joy) Ballinger, Mallory, Allyson, Kendyl, Krystle, John Henry (Brittany) and Travis Johnson, Brayden Atkins, Jared W. and Kaylie Johnson; 5 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main Street, New Paris, OH.  Interment will be held at Springlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
